What is Baby Yoga?

Baby yoga is an interactive routine preformed with baby and parent. The parent helps baby into carefully developed movements that work well to strengthen and tone baby’s body. The movements include gentle stretching, strengthening exercises and breathing by encouraging the babies to imitate their mother’s breathing patterns.

My yoga classes are tailored to help babies reach developmental milestones (rolling, sitting, crawling, standing and walking) quicker by learning what muscles to use to make their bodies do what they want. But most importantly, because our yoga is done through loving interaction with parent, it helps baby’s brain development at the time of most intense growth.

Misconceptions

Unlike some YouTube videos that you may have seen, Baby Glo London Yoga is SAFE.  All the stretches and exercises have been carefully developed specifically for babies. Babies are not over stretched, put in painful positions or swung unsupported.

BabyGlo Yoga is BABY yoga – not mother and baby yoga. Although there are many benefits for both the parent and baby, the movements are focused on the baby's anatomy and it is the baby that is doing the poses.

Baby Yoga Classes

I run regular Yoga classes in varying location across London. The sessions are approx. 30 - 45 minutes and include a variety of stretches and strengthening exercises to help with your baby's development.
